How to Select the Right Control Box:
Choosing the correct control box involves two key steps: determining the front panel size and confirming the depth. Follow the guide below to make the right selection.
First, identify the screen size, the number of buttons, and the button dimensions that will be installed in the control box. After arranging the positions reasonably, you can determine the
required front panel size.
Next, identify the size and shape of the electrical components or required parts installed inside the control box. The control box depth must be greater than the size of the internal components.
Example:
Panel dimensions: 395 × 315 mm
Opening size: 309.5 × 231 mm
Keyhole holes: 9 holes, diameter 22 mm
Indicator light holes: 5 holes, size 7 mm
Internal component depth requirement: 100 mm
Selection: Since the internal components require a depth of 100 mm, we should choose our 130 mm deep box.
Model number: 130 – 395 – 315
Key Takeaways :
Front panel size depends on screen size, button count, and button dimensions
Box depth must be greater than the internal component depth
Model number format: Depth – Width – Height
